The “Adopt-a-Church” program has been created to not only meet the needs of the people in Latin America, but to be spiritually redemptive to the communities. We are committed to rebuilding the most relevant and credible part of Latin Americans culture that is the church.
We believe that if we can spiritual rebuild the broken down churches, then we can inject them resources like food, clouting, money, building and church equipment, not before.
Charis Ministry Center is a non-profit church ministry organized to glorify God by developing strategic Christian leaders inside and outside the institutional church to lead biblical reformation in their communities, cultures and to replicate biblical leadership.
Believers are called to make disciples of the nations, to build up lives, proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom, bringing the Kingdom of God culture so that to a discernible degree our prayer “Thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven” is increasingly manifest as answered.
We are equipping leaders in strategic areas who are able to equip the saints for service in areas outside the institutional church, education and the workplace, two vital areas influencing culture and been relevant in their communities.
Charis Ministry Center is responding to this need by recruiting experienced Christ-centered biblical leaders gifted to teach other leaders to influence strategic areas in their culture - their churches, homes, schools, workplaces.
Charis Ministry Center desires the LORD use us to influence and equip other leaders to influence and equip other leaders to influence others to live a Christ-centered biblical lifestyle by the grace of God through faith in Christ.
Historically, Charis Ministry Center is newly organized, being founded in 2000, but it is well experienced. The founding members have many years of ministry leadership experience. Our founder and Executive Director has over 30 years church leadership experience, the last ten of which has been training leaders overseas.
Over 180 years of Christian leadership experience is represented by the full-time instructional staff of Charis Ministry Center. This experience covers local church leadership, church planting, church revitalization, founding and administration of Christian schools, academic studies and publishing and overseas ministries in United States, Europe and Latin America. This experience also covers living out a godly faith “successfully” in marriage, family, business, and neighborly community relations. The LORD has prepared our staff with wisdom born of study and experience thought practically apply His word.

The work of this program is sustained by the donations of churches and individuals. The 100% of your offering will be to provide support for a new ministry or church plant in Latin America. Join a trans-cultural mission trip
Ask yourself: Would you be willing to send a team to help with a church construction? Alternatively, take a church, put it under your wings, and help it in all aspects of ministry. Or, can have an Evangelism mission trip? How about a VBS for the kids? In other words what an amazing opportunity to walk along side a church and watch God use you to help another ministry become all that He intended.
We can help you create a transformational and meaningful mission trip for your church. With opportunities ranging from helping to start a new church, to working with dozens of children in a creative arts camp or VBS, to a cross-cultural experience your people will see firsthand the need for church planting in Latin America.
